The Geo Server publishes the ibonav.aero aeronautical map — a QGIS project built on the AIS Navigation Database and other aeronautical data — through standard OGC services. Any OGC-compatible software (OpenLayers, Leaflet, QGIS, ArcGIS …) can use it without custom code. The ibonav.aero Interactive Map uses it for clicking on features and for its search bar.

For map display, prefer the Tile Server: its tiles are cached and load fast, while every Geo Server request is rendered at the time of the request. The map symbology is explained in the ibonav.aero User Guide; the SVG symbols of the point features are available from Geo Server Symbology.
